Some organisations seem to think it’s fashionable to put details of their Green credentials on their website. After a long time thinking about it, we’ve decided to show our own Green colours.
Of course, we have always used bicycles for non-essential journeys and the occasional business meeting, and wherever possible we minimise our carbon footprint by using trains instead of cars, and the Internet instead of un-necessary meetings.
Our flock of Buff Orpington chickens not only provide eggs for office lunches, but they recycle food waste as well.
We recycle office paper in used cardboard cartons, recycle office equipment and we generally select Kyocera printers not only for their longevity and long cartridge life but for their ceramic, recyclable printer drums.
So while some organisations talk about their staff surveys, and say that 92% of their staff try to leave less trace on the planet, we actually do it. As we have since we started in 1992. Long before being Green was fashionable.
